Merge Zoo — Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Merge Zoo ("the Game") collects when you play it and how that information is used.
1. What we collect
- Anonymous gameplay events — for example merges, booster use, session start and end, and progression milestones. These describe what happened in the game, not who the player is.
- A random install identifier — a random ID created the first time you play and stored in your browser. It is not derived from any personal information, device identifier or account, and only lets us tell new sessions from returning ones.
- Basic technical information attached to events, such as platform and game version, needed to interpret the data.
We do not collect names, email addresses, precise location, contacts or any other directly identifying personal information through the Game.
2. Why we collect it
To understand how the Game is played, fix problems, balance difficulty and decide which changes make the Game more enjoyable. We do not sell this data and do not use it for advertising profiles.
3. Who processes the data
Gameplay analytics are processed on our behalf by ByteBrew. See ByteBrew's privacy policy: docs.bytebrew.io/BBSettings/privacypolicy.
When you play on CrazyGames, CrazyGames' own privacy policy also applies to the platform, including its ads and accounts.
4. Browser storage
The Game stores the install identifier and its analytics data in your browser's local storage. Your game progress is saved separately (through CrazyGames' storage on CrazyGames, otherwise your browser's local storage) and is not used for tracking.
5. How long we keep it
Analytics data is kept for up to 24 months, after which it is deleted or aggregated so it can no longer be linked to an install identifier.
6. Children
The Game does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The data described above is anonymous and does not identify any player.
7. Your choices
Because the data is anonymous, we cannot match it to a specific person. You can reset the install identifier at any time by clearing your browser's site data for the Game.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated.
